What are Public Notices 

A Public Notice is issued by a government agency or legislative body that contains sufficient detail to notify the public at large of a proposed action. San Benito County contains the following public notice districts pursuant to Government Code 6085.440: 

1. Hollister District, which is comprised of the City of Hollister.

2. San Juan District, which is comprised of the City of San Juan Bautista.

These Public Notices include, but are not limited to:

• Administrative Reviews

• PG&E Requests for Rate Increases

• General Public Notice

• Notices of Public Meetings

• Notice of Availability and Preparation

• California Department of water resources
